Dibutyl Adipate (DBA) (CAS: 105-99-7), due to its good compatibility with polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chlorine-vinyl acetate copolymer, polyvinyl butyraldehyde, nitrocellulose, butyl acetate fiber, etc., it is commonly used as a plasticizer for vinyl resin fiber resin and synthetic rubber. It has low viscosity and good cold resistance, and can also be used for nitrocellulose coatings. Dibutyl Adipate is used as a plasticizer for vinyl and cellulose resins, but also as a solvent and for organic synthesis.
